Outlook 2007 and CRM pop-up error

Hi all,

I'm getting the following error:
" A microsoft dynamics crm window was unable to open, and may have been blocked by a pop-up blocker. please add this microsoft dynamics crm server to the list of sites your pop-up blocker allows to open new windows:"

I have disabled the blocker in IE, added the site as well as IP to the trusted zone, made sure IE is the default browser, do not have any 3rd party blockers, and still no resolution.

Your help is appreciated.

Here's the (odd) resolution to my problem:

Despite IE being the default browser I set Firefox as default.  This fixed the issue but to test I changed back to IE and it continued to work.

I hope this helps others.

Try adding the  CRM site to the intranet (assuming that it's your internal CRM website)

sorry I meant enable protected mode by installing IE8

however I have found case that it worked if you disabled it also
