"Cannot display the folder. Microsoft Outlook cannot access the specified folder location. The operation failed. An object cannot be found."

what is this about and how can i get round it?

If you are in an Administrators group you will need to make some changes.

this article deals with Exchange 2007 but 2010 is very similar:

ok i followed those instructions and run the ps script to enable full access
but now for some reason the outlook profile that had all the mailboxes open on wont open, says connection to exchange is unavailable :s

i even deleted the profile and tried to create a new one, its not haveing it

but the machine with just my mailbox on is still fine and connected :S

any ideas?

Thanks

How are you adding the additional mailboxes?

In your Exchange account under more settings
advanced
open these additional mailboxes?

Is the machine with just your mailbox on is still fine and connected?

Have you bounced the other PC?

Once you remove the default permissions with the PS script you have to go to the next step and set the permissions you need.

yeah the machine with me jsut on is fine

pinged it?
pinging from the other machine is fine, it resolves it no probs

the other machine is also my edge transport server though if that makes a difference but since i run those commands i cant even open my own mailbox on outlook

nor can it now access OWA i just checked that too

yeah i readded the permissions using that guys powerscript code, did them all at once

the problem now is that the edge server wont open owa nor will connect to exchange

i did send a test email external to internal though and thats still fine so the services are still working

do the exchagne commands need to replicated to the transport server?
