On my spreadsheet I have numerous form command buttons with different labels. I need to change the lables so I right click on the command button and select Edit Text. There is no cursor but I can delete and change the name but not until I exit text do I see the changes. I thought I could Edit Text seeing the changes while editing>

I can't replicate that. Can you post a small sample showing the problem?

you bet . . . .
On the first tab "Monthly Total" there is a command button titled "Save & Exit" - that edit's fine. But all buttons labeled Goto or Recon do not (ignore all other command buttons in other columns - they are going away).
There a frozen columns and rows - maybe that's the problem?

Yep - unfreeze panes and then it's fine. Not a bug I'd heard of before.
