exchange 2003 anonymous email

What are the default settings for access on the default smtp virtual server - I think I accidently unchecked (or checked) something under the Authentication tab that i should not have and now we cant recieve emails

Anonymous is ESSENTIAL - the others are questionable but are usually ticked by default (Basic & Integrated Windows).
