Hello,
I am using ELASTIX (FreePBX) wrapper of Asterisk 1.6.2.13 and on other machine Asterisk 1.4.26.1.
I want to make the caller hear a waiting call beep when he calls to an extension which is on call. Currently there is an option to enable "waiting call" when the caller just hear regular calling beeps, or to disable "waiting call" and then the caller just hear standard "busy" tone.

How is it possible to implement a "waiting call" tone which the caller will hear while the callee sees a "waiting call".

thank you.

Dial tones can be changed via asterisk, but the call waiting tones are more dictated by the phones because asterisk just sends a sip packet that tells the phone that the endpoint is busy. So, you need to see if your phone supports it.
