I need to write a script that will:

1) Execute a stored procedure
2) Execute EdmGen.exe to Update the (Entity Framework) .edmx file
3) Execute a command line compiler to recompile mmy program

What scriping language would I use? Is there still such a thing as a DOS batch file? Is that the correct method?

Where do I find the path for the C# compiler in Visual Studio 2010 Professional?

Thanks,

I think you should use MSBuild for your Step 3.  Visual Studio uses it behind the scenes to build projects.
