Sharepoint 2010 left navigation bar

How do i add a site to the left navigation pane in Sharepoint.  It does have Quick Launch enabled for it.

On your sharepoint site, top left hand corner, click site actions -> site settings

You will either have a link under the "Look and Feel" section called Quick Launch or Navigation, there you can add your link.

Global Navigation is for the top bar and Current Navigation is for the left hand side
