We recently picked up a copy of Dragon NaturallySpeaking Medical version. &nbsp;The doctors here are wanting to be able to use macros like our transcription staff. &nbsp;Just a trigger word for a type of form. &nbsp;I know we can do custom words and phrases, but is it possible to do a whole form from a trigger word/phrase?<br />

Voice or speech recognition includes methodologies and technologies that enable the recognition and translation of spoken language into text by computers and computerized devices. It is also known as "automatic speech recognition" (ASR), "computer speech recognition", or just "speech to text" (STT). Voice recognition applications include voice user interfaces such as voice dialling (e.g. "Call home"), call routing (e.g. "I would like to make a collect call"), appliance control, search, simple data entry, preparation of structured documents, speech-to-text processing, and aircraft (usually termed Direct Voice Input).

Voice Recognition

Software is any set of instructions that directs a computer to perform specific tasks or operations. Computer software consists of programs, libraries and related non-executable data (such as documentation). Computer software is non-tangible, contrasted with computer hardware, which is the physical component of computers. Software written in a machine language is known as "machine code". However, in practice, software is usually written in high-level programming languages than machine language. High-level languages are translated into machine language using a compiler or interpreter or a combination of the two.

Programming includes both the specifics of the language you’re using, like Visual Basic, .NET, Java and others, but also the best practices in user experience and interfaces and the management of projects, version control and development. Other programming topics are related to web and cloud development and system and hardware programming.

A miscellany is defined as a "collection of various pieces of writing by different authors", but it has come to mean something "Of items gathered or considered together of various types or from different sources" or "a collection or group composed of members or elements of different kinds". The word "miscellaneous" comes from the Latin word "miscere", meaning "to mix." You might have heard the expression "a mixed bag," which applies when you don't quite know what you're going to get. More commonly, a miscellaneous group is made up of an odd group of things that don't fit anywhere else.
