A client has just moved to using postini and is having problems with a number of emails not getting through to their desitination. I have been recommended on the postini forum that I need to use an SPF record but I have never had to create one before as we also sent from our own email servers. On the openspf.org site there seems to be various methods and I am unsure what I should be including. The domain is cfep.co.uk and the outbound server is outbounds200.obsmtp.com. Thanks.

Here's the source: http://www.openspf.org/  and a Wikipedia article of course: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sender_Policy_Framework

I have created the following using openspf. Does this look OK?

v=spf1 a:outbounds200.obsmtp.com mx:cfep.co.uk include:spf.postini.com ~all

I think it's ok.  Mine is simpler than that and has the IPv4 address included.
