Have you got Quicktime installed?
Here's Slingbox's step-by-step
Run through it and let us know where you get stuck.

I need to know which Slingbox you have before I can give specifics.
But the above links should have most of the info you need.

OK. Have you done these yet?

1. Access the Slingbox from your computer and make sure Remote Access is Enabled.
While you are at it, write down the Atlas and Finder ID info (under Properties in the Sling Player software).

2. Download and install the Ipad Sling Player on your Ipad. Add the Slingbox to the Sling Player Directory. Add  the Alias, Finder ID and password for your Slingbox.

3. Now you should be able to click "Watch" in the Slingbox Directory to see it.

If it still doesn't work, we need you figure out your exact network devices and how many routers in your network, and configure the router(s) to see the Slingbox IP (and port?) so it will let you in.
Preferably you want the Slingbox connected to the Primary router (the one connected to, or part of, the modem. But this isn't always possible.

Will need:
type of internet connection
Modem make and model
Router make and model (if it is separate from the modem)
How things are connected.

Might also need :
IP address
Gateway Address

Looks like you have run the Slingbox Network Setup Assistant to get it done. I don't see anything to do it directly.

Buy Static IP from your ISP or assign a dynamic IP trough a free service like dyndns.com or no-ip.com...

>> ...give static ip to my slingbox

Should be something like this:
You need to find out what Address Range the router uses for DHCP. Then change the Slingbox from DHCP to Static, and give the Slingbox an Address higher than the Dynamic Range the router uses.
So if the router says it uses x.x.x.1 through 50, you would give it x.x.x.51 (or higher).

In that case, pick a number that is well beyond the number of devices in your network.
Something like x.x.x.30

I can't get pass the Slingbox Logon page, now.   : /

From what I remember, you need to  run the Slingbox Network Wizard to set the Slingbox for Remote Viewing.

I think you do need to buy the ipad/iphone separately. But I can't verify that at the moment.

As far as I know, all Slingboxes can do remote viewing.

Still waiting for you to post your network hardware and how it is all connected.

There is also a possibility that your ISP is stopping you.

I still can't get at most of the stuff on Slingbox, but I found this:

for Standard Def
Slingbox site and they mention that the Slingbox needs at least 256 Kbps upload speeds on the network that it is sending from
http://blog.kevinpshan.com/2007/01/my-son-just-left-for-college-in-january.html

For High Def:
Slingbox requires HD to be at 2mbps upload from the source, but 3mbps is suggested.
