I have been given the task of setting up a new MS 2008 server from an old slow MS 2003 sever.

My server knowledge is limited to hardware, so I wanted to see if there were any how to's out somewhere on how I might precede with the task and move the numerous setting and files over from the old machine.

If no one knows of a place to find such information but knows how and would describe such here I'll be happy to kick the points up!

Thanks!

SBS 2008 has a migration wizard. Have a look at: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc527469(WS.10).aspx

Well sometimes google is better in searching the MS site than MS itself :-~

Hope this helps you out.
