Migrating from SBS2003 Exchange to Exchange 2010

For some reason, I am getting the following errors after moving some mailboxes from Ex. 2003 to Ex. 2010.
Failed to cleanup the source mailbox after the move....

How can this negatively affect me?
Does this mean the Outlook client that is related to this mailbox will still point to the 2003 Mailbox on the 2003 Exchange, or will the Outlook client be automatically be updated to point to the Exchange 2010 server?

Thanks

On the Exchange 2003 server under Administrative Groups > Servers > SERVERNAME > recipients.

Right click and run cleanup agent, the moved mailbox will then have a red x (after refreshing) right click and select purge.

That will fix it :)

Hello Demazater
I did what you said, and I got the Red X, but after I select PURGE, I get the following error message:
"The operation cannot be performed because the mailbox was already connected to an existing user."

Thanks!

OK, try the move request again on the 2007 server for that mailbox.
