Mail enabled PF on Exchange 2007

Just created a PF called 'referrals' with the email address of 'referrals@abc.com" on Exchange 2007 then mail enabled it. When  I try to send it an email I get this error message:

The recipient's e-mail address was not found in the recipient's e-mail system. Microsoft Exchange will not try to redeliver this message for you. Please check the e-mail address and try resending this message, or provide the following diagnostic text to your system administrator.

Hi,

This is probably a cut and paste/edit issue but in the NDR you are sending to "referrals@abc.com" with an "s" but in the cmdlet output the SMTP address is "Referral@abc.com" i.e. no "s".
'
You could try disabling the mail for the PF and then re-enable it after allowing for replication.

I must be blind that was NOT cu/paste issue, I left the 's' of the folders name!!!

So I fixed that by recreating the folder...  Now I get this when I try to email it:

Looks like permissions to me, the anonymous permissions need to be set with contributor rights to be able to receive email to the PF.
