When I try to opne a AMC console getting this error message.

Citrix MFCOM Service did not respond as expected. Make sure that your user account is a member of this computer's Distributed COM Users group if you are connecting to a remote server. Check the version of Citrix Presentation Server on the computer and make sure that a compatible version of Citrix MFCOM Service is installed and running.

Environment : PS 4.5, 2003 Server 64 bit SP2. no errors in event viewer. WI Version 4.5.1.8215.

COM+ Event System and COM+ System Application services are enabled & running.

try this ...

go to Component Services within Administrative Tools

Component Services > Computers > My Computer > COM+ Applications > Citrix IMA COM Interop > Roles > Citrix Administrators

Right click Users and add an existing user or group

i.e. the one you are using.
Check user has access to the following services described in the articles. Also for now use an admin account to open AMC

Under Component Services > Computers > My Computer > COM+ Applications  there is no Citrix IMA COM Interop. Please let me know alternative step.

Issue resolved after restarting server.
