I am looking for an application to be able to make content search in a folder or a drive and find the requested let say word inside in a doc or an text file.

In windows XP I know this option but where it is on Windows 7 ?
But I am looking for a third party application in order to be more faster than windows search.

In windows 7 just type your seatch terms in at the bottom of the start menu - where is says  "search for programs and files" (you can then click "see more results" if you want more info

Windows 7 does this on its own. If you dont see the document yet, it probally hasn't been indexed yet. I guess you could turn off Windows indexing and download Google Desktop. Their indexing works better, but is a resource hog at first.
