Hello,

I have a client who's system resources seems to be taxed all off a sudden. most process right ok but there cad folks who are dealing with large drawings during the save phase of a drawing to the network over a gig switch a 120 meg file/project will take 20 min compared to 2 min to a local drive.

They are getting a occasional event alert: (Below)

A large amount of memory is committed to applications and processes.
Consistently high memory usage can cause performance problems.

To determine which processes and applications are using the most memory,
use Task Manager. Monitor the activity of these resources over a few
days. If they continue to use a high level of memory and are less
critical processes or services, try stopping and then restarting them.

Quick Fix - reboot (or restart all SQL Server instances until you get the correct one).

Long Term Fix - adjust ALL SQL server instances so they are limited in the amount of memory they can use - see
