WSS 3.0 Restore Error

I attempted a web application and content database restore by using the Central Administration web site because I was getting this error when accessing a List that I want to delete:

Exception occurred. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80020009 (DISP_E_EXCEPTION))

The restore failed with this error messasge:

Object WSS_Content failed in event OnPostRestore. For more information, see the error log located in the backup directory

Below are the error messages from the log file.  Can someone tell me how to fix the error so that I can do a complete restore?

It looks like your trying to restore list items/documents that have required fields. However the data for the required fields isn't there. i.e. your data is invalid.

Does your restore recreate the site ok? Does it put most of the data back and do just the invalid items fail?

It appears that the restore recreates the site mostly ok.  I can access the site and it seems that most items are back.  I don't know which items failed to restore.

You might want to have a look in the ULS logs (14/logs) at around 3/14/2011 10:49:36 AM. There should be some more information in there.

You could also try to user stsadm -o restore and include the showtree option:

Do you mean C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\LOGS instead of 14/logs?

Yes, for sp 2007 that's right
