Check version of Excel in vb.net 2005

Hi,
Is there a way know at runtime which excel version the machine has.
If 2007 and further or excel 2003

Any suggestions are appreciated

or check the registry for existence of Office 11.0 / 12.0 Excel keys

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Excel
or
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Excel
