Hello all

I am trying to backup an Oracle server using Backup exec. The Oracle engineer told me that he has no idea how backup exec works so he told me that is my responsibility to find out how to backup the Oracle server.

This is the first time i am going to backup an oracle server using backup exec so i need a little help here.

I have deployed the oracle agent and configured the correct oracle credentials. I can successfully view the Oracle Database on the new Job Wizard. My question is that when i expand the Oracle database i see 2 sub directories. One called archived logs and one named tablespaces

What should i choose to make sure that i am doing the backup correct?

Thanks
