HI,

I'm new to Backup Exec.

We recently needed to install Backup Exec to a different server.  We just replicated the settings, but we are getting this error for servers that get backed up from the backup job.
Error" The Media Server was unable to connect to remote machine (null) because a network interface matching the selected Backup via Network parameters could not be found."

What causes this error?  I have Windows Standar 2008 R2 and Backup Exec v2010

Have you pushed out the remote agent from the new backup exec server to the other servers?

I had deployed the agent already.  Another friend in my company found out there was a misspelling in the server path/director.
