Client is running SBS 2003 R2 with BPS 4.2 installed site only has only two BB 9700 connected all was working fine, on the weekend one of the users did a lot of filing from his inbox to outlook folders in his mail box.

His Outlook 2007 client reflects the changes made, his iPad connected via Activesync reflects the changes in the exchange inbox however all the mail that was filed still shows on is BB 9700 inbox and has not updated, it still shows in his inbox.

I have asked him to wait and see if it comes good, it has not after 24 hours and have also asked for him to remove the battery and repower the BB 9700, still it shows in his inbox on the BB 9700 but not in outlook 2007 inbox.

He can receive new email on his BB 9700 no problems and can send, new mail just adds to the BB9700 inbox that was cleaned out, very strange, any tricks to get this syncing again correctly?

On the BlackBerry, go into the Messages list, click the BlackBerry menu key, select Options > Message Display and Actions and put a tick in 'Hide Filed Messages'.

Yes he will.

This just hides them from the main message list - the 'Default View' if you prefer.

Just tried this on the BB 9700 option was already set to Yes, also tried Reconcile Now under Messages > Options.

Yes sending and receiving is fine on the BB 9700 this only happened after filing a large amount of mail from his inbox to folders via outlook 2007 on Sunday he noticed these mails were still on the BB 9700.

Two more things to try:

First, go into the Messages list, click the BlackBerry menu key and choose Options. Go into Email Reconcilliation, set the Message Services (if available) to the BES account and check the Delete On setting. It should be set to 'Mailbox and Handheld'.

Second, also from the Options menu, go into Email Preferences, set the Message Services (if available) to the BES account then click the BlackBerry Menu key and choose Folder Redirection. Make sure all of the folders that he is filing to are checked for Synchronisation.

Ok I will try these tomorrow and report back. Thanks for your help BB drives me crazy sometimes Activesync is so much easier to fault and fix you just don't seem to get these strange issues on AS.
