Hi,

Browse option in toolbox in Dot net

Whats the name of the tool that can be userd as a browse feature in Dot net.

Something like attach file in EE>

I want a box where we can browse a file and attach it. i want to know where we can find it.

I assume you want it for a windows forms project ?

In the dialogs section there is the openfiledialog is that the kind of thing you are after.

I guess yes. But when added to the windows form it goes to the bottom and not the form. How can i see how it looks or activate it on the form

Normally you would have a textbox on the form that will get  the result of the openfiledialog and a button to open the openfiledialog.

I want a option that when clicked a button browse it popup's the box where i can select a file and click open and it gets the path to the text box
