Are you trying to connect to mirrored database?
If so it's not possible to connect to mirror database and query it. If your login has that database as it's default it's the reason why it can't get connected.

NO..NO not trying to query a mirror db

I am implementing mirror.

when i go to the Mirror Server Instance (task -mirror)

give the name of the server, and click on the connect tab.
the error comes at once

You can not log in to the mirrored database as it is not accessible. Anyway if you really want to access the mirrored database you can take a snapshot of the mirror and create a database from that to access the mirrored server data.
