Compress ScriptResource.axd and webresource.axd in Ajax

How i can compress ScriptResource.axd and webresource.axd in Ajax
to reduce the size of the scripts
im using 3.5
currently when i use Yslow to analysis my site ,the size of scripts is 450 KB
i add this section in web config but it didnt do any thing

      <scriptResourceHandler  enableCaching="true" enableCompression="true" />

your solution only work for static files
if u read my question i have implement this solution and didnt work

i need another solution
