Hi.
We have an autocad file & we need to count unique objects inside this file + measure length of curves.
Can this be done inside Autocad, or is there any third party software that can handle this?

If you are looking for a way count unique items use the Quick Select function:
keyin: QSELECT
then you can select the criteria to which the items will be selected

As for the length of an arc you can do that by looking at the properties window for each Arc that is selected. If you want to calculate the total length of multiple arcs you can use the total length lisp found here:

QSELECT works for only 1 object, Is there a way to get a list of all items with their quantities?

Quick Select will select all objects within the drawing matching the properties you have selected

make sure the Apply To: is set to the Entire Drawing
Make sure to select the Object Type to Arc
and chose one property to use to select for, if you want to pick every arc within the drawing then pick any property and in the Operator field select "Select All"

Also make sure the field "How to apply" is set to "Include in new select set"

I do not know of any software first hand that is capable of doing that but I'm sure you can find someone to write the code to create this report for you. here are two good places to find someone who could create that code for you:
