What happens when you enter onto the command prompt:

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>nslookup something.com
Server:  something01.something.lan
Address:  162.30.122.11

Name:    something.com

C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>nslookup www.something.com
Server:  something01.something.lan
Address:  162.30.122.11

*** something01.something.lan can't find www.something.com: Non-existent domain

You need to create a "www" host record with the ip of the webserver.

Or use a CNAME record if the host is a different name.

Issue was DNS. Aliases were being used and have since been replaced.
