We are deploying several Cisco Aironet 1142N WAP in lightweight mode with standard internal antenna in a large open air warehouse.  The ceiling is 24' high.  I suspect that is too high to get maximum connectivity.

Does anyone know the optimal height for placement of the WAPs?

20-25' is a good height
omnidirectional antennas work great
un;ess you using directional or Yagi then you should get even signal coverage
