Unpromted Outlook appointment day changes

I have a recurring meeting in my calendar for the second Wednesday in each month but a couple of times now it has, unprompted, changed to the 12th of each month, which is causing issues as people put clashing appointments in my diary because they don’t realise they are clashing (and also I get reminders on my phone disrupting my weekend).  I can set it back to second Wednesday afterwards (and have now) but I don’t see it moving unless I happen to look at the week in question.

This has not fixed the issue, however further investigation of this has proven that this is a sync issue.

I will close this topic down, and thank you for your help.
1st check you have SP2 installed

Of the bat it sound like this may have been an recurring appointment that has been around for some time with no specified end date.....?
Recurring appointments over long periods of time can, from time to time, become corrupt.

Quick and easy solution is to open the Recurring Appointment Series.
Set the End Date for Todays date.
This will remove all future appointments.

Then recreate the recurring appointment, from that day onwards.
Keep in mind when you re-create the appointment its reccomended to set an end date of no later that 1 year.

Should be fine
