I am using a 3rd party software that utilizes MAPI for mail-level backups. When I download MAPI.exe (6.0.0.1018) to configure the Exchange Service the Exchange Server name and Mailbox name are not automatically filled in. When I enter the correct information it cannot find the Exchange Server.<br />

I have seen that some small business servers have Outlook installed but I really don't want to do this so I am hoping there is another way. <br />

If anyone has ever used Mapi.exe could you please let me know what I can do to fix this. <br />

Windows Server 2003 was based on Windows XP and was released in four editions: Web, Standard, Enterprise and Datacenter. It also had derivative versions for clusters, storage and Microsoft’s Small Business Server. Important upgrades included integrating Internet Information Services (IIS), improvements to Active Directory (AD) and Group Policy (GP), and the migration to Automated System Recovery (ASR).
