Small Business Server 2003 Mapi Configuration

I am using a 3rd party software that utilizes MAPI for mail-level backups. When I download MAPI.exe (6.0.0.1018) to configure the Exchange Service the Exchange Server name and Mailbox name are not automatically filled in. When I enter the correct information it cannot find the Exchange Server.

I have seen that some small business servers have Outlook installed but I really don't want to do this so I am hoping there is another way.

If anyone has ever used Mapi.exe could you please let me know what I can do to fix this.

Make sure the account you're using has a mailbox, and that it is not hidden from the global address list.
