We keep losing Static DNS record after 1hour

We've rebooted our hubtransports/CAS server last night and we keep losing the Static DNS record after 1hour. I've increased the TTL to max amount of days and I'm waiting to see if this happens again? Has anyone experienced this problem before?

You have answered to your question itself. But if it still lose the DNS entry make sure the transport server's NIC has checkmark set to "Register this connection's addresses in DNS" and the DNS suffix for this connection is set correctly to the Domain name.

TO navigate there Control Panel>Network and Sharing Center> Vew Status (of NIC) > Properties >Proptery of TCP/IPv4 > Advanced > DNS and bottom you have make the select if it is not and verify DNS suffix entry  as well.

this problem stopped happening after we restarted the DHCP Server service on our DHCP server?
