how to validate sql server 2008 merge replication

Hi Experts,

We had a SQL Server Cluster Failover for Publisher in a merge replication. I would check the logreader, dist and merge agents to see if they are succesful.

Can you please let me know if there are any validation methods/scripts available to validate the data is in Sync.

Thanks,

The link below has all the system SP_... that you can use to check your replication status and if I understand corectly what the easiest way to check it is if you look on anyone of the databases in merge scenario the latest data entry/change into any user table part of the merge replication must be found (not instantaneoulsy but quick anough) on any other database table part of the merge scenario.

in particular you could monitor merge changes waiting to be uploaded or downloaded by running:

1.At the Publisher on the publication database, execute sp_showpendingchanges
2.At a Subscriber on the subscription database, execute sp_showpendingchanges
