We just finished a mass mailing that used our CRM Database for contacts. we sent out 3355 messages.

770 of those addresses were "User does not exist" hard bounces and I would like to purge my database of those records.

Does anyone know of a bulk delete tool that would do the trick?

thanks,

Ken

CRM 3.0 and 4.0 do not have bulk delete available in the user interface. CRM 2011 does have this.

But you can do bulk delete by writing a program that calls the appropriate web services in the CRM platform. The CRM SDK describes how to do this. But since you have 770 records it might be quicker to use Advanced Find to identify them, change your user option to show 250 rows per page, select all the records on a page, click delete and repeat until they are all gone.

Thanks, I ended up using Advanced Find and weeding out the bad contacts. Everything is good now.
