I just can't quite remember, but don't the colour cartridges for this printer had different tabs on them to stop you putting them in the black slot, and vice versa.<br />
Is it possible you have a mislabelled cartridge?<br />

Does the old one still fit back in correctly?

Hello folks<br />
Just a routine change of the black cartridge for an HP Color LaserJet 3600, the cartridge will not go all the way into the slot of course the front door will not close. I thought the issue was with the cartridge itself, but it does fit into other slots. &nbsp;Any suggestions??
