XenApp 5.0 install in Windows 2008 server

Hello experts,

I am preparing to install XenApp 5.0 (downloaded files from mycitrix.com) on a windows 2008 server.
1. Do I need to change system drive letter?
2. I have a SQL box (Data Store) with sql 2008 64 bit running on Windows 2008 R2 OS, how to go about creating dsn, prior to the install.
3. Pre-requisites before I install XenApp 5 presentation sever.

1. No, Citrix and MS no longer recommend doing that and actually you can't do that on Server 2008 and higher.

2. The DSN is created as part of the install.

Thanks heaps.
I forgot to mention that I have already have existing XenApp 4.5 farm with 20 CTX servers, Citrix Secure Gateway server and License/PN agent server.
Can XenApp 5 and 4.5 work together? as the datasource for these two will be different.
Please advise.

If the two have different data stores then they will not see each other and cannot affect each other in any way. You can use Web Interface to aggregate the two farms so the users will not even know there are two farms.

SHould I need to created DBs in SQL server first? If so what names should I give them. Please advise.

Yes, you need to create a DB in SQL before starting the XenApp install. You can name the DB anything you want. You will change the default database to be the DB you created in SQL for your data store.

By the time I had already configured xenapp 5 without actually selecting the DB.
I have now created a DB in SQL, what is the best way to change the default DB tp the one I have created? I tried to uninstall XenApp 5 in vain.
Please advise/

I managed to uninstall xenapp 5 and restarted the server. But when I try to install, the following got installed successfully except xenapp 5 and I am getting the error msg as embeded.
Citrix access management console - success
Citrix xenapp plugin for hosted apps - success
Citrix XenApp Plugin for Streamed Apps - success
