SharePoint 2010

Configured web site until it no longer works. Created a new web site and attached content db. All appears normal, but many errors about missing lists while attemptong various edits. Unable to upload files at all, though some do download without issue. Sharepoint Workspace no longer works, generating "unknown errors" during synch.

Thanks for your response.

I am new to SharePoint and this is a dev box. In attempting a host of different configuration options, I inadvertently brought the site down.

As a solution, I created a new site and attached the content db to the new site. This is the point that I asked the question.

The answer to the question is that I had to remove the existing alternate access mappings to the old site via SharePoint Central Administration, and recreate them for the new site. The SharePoint site is now fully functional on the newly created web site.

As time permits, Ill return to the old site to pinpoint exactly where things went wrong.

Thanks Again!
