I am running a blackberry enterprise server 5.0 and recently the admin cosole takes an exesive amount of time to load and typically times out before I can accomplish any configuration tasks.  The server itself is still forwarding messages to configured devices but I can not view the admin console to troubleshoot issues or add/remove devices.

The BB 5.0 and later version faced this issue. Please install MR2 and check. It will solve the BB admin console  issue.

So I got the admin console to respond finally but not until the server almost died and also can only get to it using the 127.0.0.1 loopback and not using the dns name (which used to work).

Apparently this was due to a DNS issue on my domain controller.  I fixed the dns record for the BB server (not sure how it got messed up in the first place) and no longer have any hang time when loading the admin console.

I figured this out tonight after updating my DNS records.  Not sure why the records were incorrect but no longer have this issue.
