Trying to install Oracle Instant Client 11.2 on Windows XP wtih PHP 5.2.1. I have the client installed successfully (I think!) on c:/Oracle/instantclient_11<wbr />_2 as prescribed. &nbsp;When I attempt to uncomment the oracle extension in the php.ini (extension=php_oci8.dll), I'm not able to restart the services, it crashes. &nbsp;Nothing noted in the Apache error log other than showing an unclean shutdown. the php.ini file that is recognized by phpinfo is in c:/wamp/bin/apache/Apache2<wbr />.2.11/bin/<wbr />php.ini. &nbsp; I also see a php.ini in the php folder at c:/wamp/bin/php/php5.2.11/<wbr />php.ini but that's not listed on phpinfo.
