Reproduce Folderlist into xml Document with c#

I would like to reproduce a folder list of directories, sub directories (or directory tree) and files as an xml document with nodes, sub-nodes etc.

My knowledge of XML is weak at best.

How would I go about this?

A complete example with files and all. (you just can comment out the file part if you don't need the files)
