What happend to keyboard?

All of a sudden, now, when in a folder, I can no longer hit a key, such as "F", to jump to the documents that start with F.  What has happend?

Please advise as to the correct zone to post in.

did you check if scroll lock is on?

Have you tried rebooting your PC?

Try to download the latest drivers for your keyboard

also check if there a stucked key in your keyboard, try to hit them all to unlock if there's a stucked one then retry

I was very stupid.  I tried two different letters, both of which were not used at the begining of any document in the folder.  whoops.  Sorry to waste your time.
