Best Server solution office center

Hi everybody,

Having some doubts what would be the best solution for the following situation for an Office Center with various companies inside;

Current situation is a Clark Connect server with MultiWan (4xADSL)  functionality. Problem is Network and internetspeed is sometimes unstable and they want to change the service contract with the current IT company.

Solution A) Keep the current setup and try to improve the setup through changing settings or change the multiwan for one fiber optic connection.

Solution B) Upgrade the server to ClearOS (or maybe buy a new one since this is a lease contract) Hoping that this bring stability to the network and improved MultiWan functionality.

Solution C) An SBS2008 server with a SonicWall firewall

Solucion D) Mac Server OSX (haven't really investigated this yet)

Since there are various companies in one network. In need permissions set per company to set data safe on personal PC. Systems being used is a mix is an overall mix of Win XP / Vista / 7 and quite a few Mac OSX (that's why I considered the last option) Would be nice to have some sort of traffic control per type of software used on the network. (Limit bandwidth on Spotify for instance) and give Skype calls priority over the network.

Various companies are looking into solutions on their own like dropbox for (remote) file sharing which scares me me a bit (don't know if this clogs up the network).

The ClearOS solution looks pretty nice but don't know if there are things that I'm overlooking.

Thanks Tobias,

The status reports look very cool!  I'll definitely take this option in consideration as well.
We've postponed the project for now. Given solution looks like a winner though.
