We have a HP CM1312 which keeps telling us it is printing but does not produce anything. I have cancelled all the print jobs on the 4 PC's that use this printer, and I have selected "Cancel" on the printer control panel but the printer still just says "Printing"..

Can anyone help?

The PC's all run Windows 7 Pro, and printing has been ok until today.

Pull the plug on the printer, wait 30 seconds and plug it back in.  Also see which system put that job in the queue and reboot the pc.

Did all of that and it made no difference. What did work (and this is bizzare) was using the web interface to the printer, and forcing a system reset by changing the operating langauge from English to French and back again

My own solution worked.
