System State Backup

During the system state backup on one of my domain controllers, I receive the following error message -
the 'Active Directory' returned 'The parameter is incorrect' from a call to 'BackupRead()' additional data '.'
The user is an domain admin and the other DCs don't have any issues during the system state backup. I'm not sure what the problem could be.
