After firmware update on Dell 2335dn printer is OFFLINE
Once I did that firmware update(Dell2335dn_FW_A05_v 2.70.05.02 .hd) on this printer, the printer is offline.
Here are the steps I’ve already taken:
Deleted printer and re added from print server. Log off RDP session and back on.
When I reset the print spooler service on print server whatever was in the que prints, but then goes right back to OFFLINE.
I have tried reinstalling the firmware update – per Dell Tech Support.
I have unplugged both the data cable and power and let sit for 30 seconds and then replugged everything back in – per Dell Tech Support
Any other ideas I can try?

Right click the printer and select use online

Print Server is on a Server 2008 R2 Standard machine
Accessing printers thru remote destop.
The printer was working fine until I did that firware update to get it to have the Quick Scan feature.

I think it actually says use offline and you need to uncheck it. when you right click on the installed printer on the print server.

When I look at the printer on my windows 2007 computer, it also says OFFLINE and when I right click on it there is NO anything that says OFFLINE. On the print server there isn't an uncheck to use offine either.
Once I reset the print spooler service, the OFFLINE goes away until someone tries to print to it, then it goes OFFLINE again.
