I'm trying to remove SBC Yahoo Online Protection Antivirus from my computer so I can install mcafee virus software. When I tried to install mcafee it told me to remove the yahoo antivirus first.
I have SBC dsl.
So I tried removing it.
In the add/remove menu of control panel I clicked to remove this item and it took it off the list.
But it still get this error.
Do any of you know how to remove SBC Yahoo Online Protection Antivirus completely from my computer? So i can install Mcafee.?
Thanks.

I've never heard of that product before. Do you have to pay to use it?
@maqskywalker
I have seen several Expert here recommend "Revo Uninstaller" - although I have personally never had to use it.

When I have a particularly tough program, I will delete all of the related files/folders I can find, then use the "Reqistry" function from www.ccleaner.com
Give either/both a try.
