Copy queue length way out of wack on Exchange 2010 DAG

We have a DAG with 2 Exchange 2010 members and we had to take them offline for a complete move of the DB to other drives. However, now that this has been done and then started back up the copy queue length was something like 700,000. From what I read online this should never reach this number and I'm wondering if there is a way I can restore the copy to the other DAG member. Right now the 2nd member is shutdown because it was creating problems if there was a failover situation.

Besides creating a new database and transferring mailboxes to that, is there a way I can get the DB back in sync between the two?

+ You will have to reseed the database to other DAG member

well right now there was the main copy on our first server and then the failed copy on the second one...we only have two. Will that article guide me through that, IE - how to remove the DB copy from the 2nd server without causing DAG issues and then reseed it?
