i was looking into some minor erors that frsdiag was showing when i noticed in adsiedit that under the ntfrs, it had 2 names of very old dc's that no longer are of this world. So i have removed them. NOW, i can't get one of my servers to come active in ntfrs..  it just show me this error..13562 evientid and does not show me the information that it's supposed to:

closing ticket... there was a serverReference parameter in adsiedit of the ntds settings under domain -system - File Replication Service - Domain Systems Volume(sysvol) - name of dfs server... that was missing because of the renamed server...that i  deleted..

thanks
