double click not working right

Can someone visit this links and tell me why the double click doesnt work right away in safari when you double click on the calendar to make an appointment? Make sure you dblclick in the white area.

I get the popup however firebug shows me there's a JS error

document.getElementById('hmPhone').focus(); Line 21

however that's isn't necessarily the culprit

the error occurs in FF but things seems to work. Safari is much stricter about what it will allow

It seems that the first click is highlighting text on the page.
