Bit of a strange one, this. An employee was "mashing their keyboard" in anger in Outlook 2007 a few weeks ago. Afterward his left key will not work to navigate text in Outlook, but strangely only in Outlook. Works in all over Office programs and any other program on the computer.

We run roaming profiles on this network, and if said user changes computer, the problem follows him?!

We've been looking for weeks for a solution but cannot find a thing!!

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Hey Shiversaint.

Have you tried resetting the local and network copy of the roaming profile to see if there is something wrong with this?

When we get strangeness like this its usually our first stop.

Cheers,

Oh sorry I avent replied.

need to delete the users profile folders,

If you use roaming profiles there will be a copy on the network. This patch can be found in the Profile tab in AD Users & Computers. Also there is a copy stored locally on the machine. This is in C:\Document & Settings\%USERNAME% or for windows 7 c:\Users\%USERNAME%

Good luck
