Hi
I'm using Blackberry server version 4.1.4.17 on Win 2003.

Nothing has changed on the BES server but suddenly no devices are syncing. I have tried restarting BES services and the whole server and it all comes back online and BES server states that it's running.
I have noticed in the event logs that I am getting event ID code: 10277 "Agent 1 failed to start. Error code 5305"
Can anyone help ASAP.

You'll need to check the 13 listed steps in the above article.  One or more of those issues must be occurring on your network for the Agent 1 error.  I'm sorry I can't be more specific, but that particular error has many causes.

This was down to permission rights on the admin user for the BES server.
