How many records are you talking about?  Is this a one off?  What kind of column is it?

I think a little more info would be useful but here is my frist stab at a recommendation:

1)  In the source list, edit in dataview, copy the entire column you want to to move.
2)  In the target list make sure that the column has been created and configured the same, edit in data view and paste in what you've copied.  This will ensure each list is the same.

Now to ensure this happens each time, make sure any workflows also copy the column from A to B on a newItem or Edit.

How does this sound?  It's dirty but really quick but would recire both lists are consistent.

Alternativly, if the aim is to ensure that the target list is identical to the source list, you could save the list as a template (with content) delete the target list and then re-create it from the template you created.

Lots of options but unsure of exactly what you want to have in the end.

Hope this helps.

It's hardly fair to say I gave you a partial solution when I actully asked you to clarify your problem before suggesting a possible solution...
